Set up your company
These details go on your e-Invoice card, so suppliers bill the right company. You can change them later.
Each document is read for the supplier, TIN, date, SST and total, then sorted into a category. Check it, then post. Every field can be changed.
Show this at the counter so the supplier issues the e-Invoice to the right company. Tap a line to copy it.
e-Invoice received: the supplier issued it to your TIN. It is already in MyInvois.
Receipt only: there is no e-Invoice behind it. Keep the receipt, and ask the supplier for one if they should issue it.
Self-bill needed: you issue the e-Invoice yourself, for example rent paid to a private landlord. Check the list with your tax agent.
They need a BuatNow account first. Everyone added sees this company's ledger only.
Each company has its own private ledger, at RM688 a year.
When a company pays RM688 by WhatsApp, switch it on here for one year. Switching off keeps its records readable but stops new receipts.
